Game One Preview - Vikings vs. Browns
September 13, 2009 to most people it is just another day, but to Vikings fans it is much more. The 13th will be the first regular season game with Brett Favre in purple and gold. The game will be held against Brett's former coach Eric Mangini and the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have been trying to keep a secret about who will be the opening day starter (cough) (cough) Brady Quinn. The Browns have much more to worry about than trying to keep a secret about their QB decision. If the Vikings don't turn the ball over I see us winning by atleast two touchdowns. ReplyDeleteNice blog. Love the Rogers foto on the sidebar. I'm being serious, Browns are severely underrated this year. (Said they were overrated last year, FWIW). I expect them to shock the world at home this week. I'll be at Cleveland Browns Stadium in perso on Sunday to cover it live, so peep Frowns on Monday for the breakdown.

I don't like the way Mangini has handled the Quarterback decision. Everyone knows that Quinn is their guy, and by trying to keep it confidential is just silly. Along with being silly it is probably causing a lot of problems in the locker room. Being a vikings fan we have no room to talk, considering the way Childress handled our "Favre Saga" ... but just saying.
