27 - 13 Vikings

After a slow start by the Vikings, they get their 2nd win! The Vikes first half was very sluggish including a Adrian Peterson fumble and at one point we were down 10 - 0. Right before the half Favre led the offense on a long drive that ended with a Favre to Shiancoe touchdown pass. Halftime score 10 - 7 Lions. In the 2nd half it was all purple and gold. After going down 10 - 0 the Vikings had 27 unanswered points. It seems like to me, that the Vikes always wait till the 3rd and 4th quarters to open up the playbook. Don't get me wrong the Lions played a good first half, and Detroit is a much better team than people give them credit for. If I were to give out a "Player of the Game" award I would give it to linebacker Chad Greenway. Greenway had 2 Matthew Stafford interceptions and played a very solid game.
