If Lord Farve just do enough to keep the proverbial 8th man out of the box, this would do wonders for the running game. If that 8th man does come in that is when Farve needs to make them pay with the quick slant or long ball.
ReplyDeleteI agree. He has to be better than Sage of TJack. I have a gut feeling that TJack is going to be either released or traded. Favre is going to overall help the running, passing, and defensive game.
ReplyDeleteBeing able to manage the game and keep the offense on the field more is going to keep the big and active Vikings D-line fresh is going to be bad news for opposing qb's. If the Williams wall can have fairly fresh legs throughout four quarters, opposing rb's are going to be in trouble. On the outside should be a good year for mullet wearing DE's that like to hog tie quarterbacks.
ReplyDeleteManage the game? When has Bertt Fatre ever managed a game? The only thing he's "managed" to do is turn the ball over and get by on dumb luck (emphasis on dumb). Vikings fans are so predictable. It doesn't matter who the player is, if he has a big name the Vikings are instantly Super Bowl bound in your eyes. What a joke.
ReplyDeleteLucky? The all time touchdown passing leader got there by luck? I think not
ReplyDeleteI have been a Vikings and Twins fan over 40 years and think it's time the Viking's got the Super Bowl win that has escaped them over the years.I live in Alabama and it has been my dream one day to come North to the state of Minnesota and get this off my bucket list. Farve gives them something more exciting than whats been going on.
ReplyDeleteRay L. welcome to vikesfans.blogspot.com! Ya Favre has got people talking about the Vikings and that is exactly what they like! I am going to the Vikes vs. Bears game on the 29th, it should be a treat.
